On the side of the sweat lodge, we had the alter. It was made of the dirt of the previous sweat lodge and shaped as a turtle.
Lessons we can learn from tortoise are ancient wisdom, experience, patience and endurance.
And after the sweat lodge days in the Negev we went to swim in Eilat with the dolphins in the Red Sea
Water is not what I expected to find in the Negev desert. And yet between the gentle rain at night and quite some dew, my sleeping bag and myself were completely wet in the morning.
We were graced to able to work directly with the four elements during this sweat lodge
